Job summary

The Cloud Architect role focuses on delivering cloud migration, optimization, and deployment solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key responsibilities include designing GCP environments, implementing infrastructure as code, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance using frameworks like NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP, while leveraging tools such as Terraform, Cloud Build, and Cloud Run.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
• 10+ years of overall professional experience
• 8+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions
• 5+ years of experience implementing proof-of-concept (POC) or minimum viable product (MVP) solutions
• 8+ years of experience using Git source control management (SCM) platforms
• 8+ years of experience implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) and orchestration

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement optimal GCP-based solutions
• Design GCP cloud environments
• Architect and own GCP Landing Zone Architectures
• Design hybrid connectivity architecture
• Implement and oversee cloud strategies including migrations and optimization
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats
• Support enterprise cloud applications and infrastructure
