Job summary
The GCP Cloud Engineer role is centered on architecting, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure. Responsibilities include developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates with Terraform, optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins, and enforcing cloud security best practices while collaborating with development and SRE teams to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications
- advanced hands-on experience with Azure, GCP and Terraform
- Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and scripting languages
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, containerization, and orchestration
- Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks
- Expertise in cloud networking
- Experience with cloud-native and open-source monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage complex cloud environments using GCP and Azure
- Develop and maintain secure, multi-region, multi-account cloud landing zones using automation frameworks
- Implement advanced networking and security controls
- Develop, test, and maintain IaC templates using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
- Integrate IaC pipelines with version control and automated testing
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
- Enforce cloud security best practices
- Deploy and manage cloud-native monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions
- Lead incident response for cloud infrastructure issues
- Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans
