GCP Infrastructure & Cloud SRE Engineer-6

Job summary

Build and operate enterprise-scale infrastructure and self-service platforms on Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on reliability, availability, and automation. The role designs GKE/Kubernetes platforms, provisions infrastructure with Terraform, maintains CI/CD and GitOps frameworks, and manages observability, SLI/SLOs, security, incident response, disaster recovery, performance, and cost. It also partners with development, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver reusable cloud services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services, GKE, Compute Engine, networking, and IAM.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Understanding of SRE practices, observability, incident management, and automation.
• Proficiency in Linux, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience building cloud landing zones and enterprise infrastructure services.
• Knowledge of FinOps, cloud security, governance, and enterprise operations.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage enterprise-scale cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployment frameworks.
• Define and manage SLI/SLOs, monitoring, observability, and reliability standards.

• Implement cloud security, IAM, networking, governance, and compliance controls.
• Improve availability, disaster recovery, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with development, security, and infrastructure teams to enable self-service platforms.
• Build reusable infrastructure services and developer platforms.
