Job summary

The Google Cloud Architect & Lead Platform Engineer leads the architecture, security, and hands-on delivery of approximately 15 enterprise platform components for a major go-live. The role establishes GCP landing zones and resilient foundations, builds modular Terraform solutions using GitOps, and guides zero-trust designs through enterprise security governance. It also delivers CI/CD automation and observability across GKE, Cloud Run, Google Cloud VMware Engine, and Compute Engine.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and build approximately 15 enterprise platform component solutions
• Establish GCP landing zones and resilient platform foundations
• Develop production-ready modular Terraform and GitOps delivery patterns
• Apply threat-modeling feedback and secure-by-default standards with enterprise security architects
• Guide architectures through formal security governance
• Build automated CI/CD workflows and Python and Bash automation
• Implement telemetry, auditability, and operational visibility across GCP workloads
• Produce solution design documents and architectural diagrams
