Google Cloud Engineer

Job summary

The role builds and deploys secure, production-ready cloud-native applications and AI solutions using Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise. Responsibilities include developing agentic AI components, data pipelines and integrations; embedding Gemini capabilities into enterprise workflows; and contributing to architecture reviews to ensure solutions meet client requirements, security policies and non-functional standards.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Google Cloud products and services, such as GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run and Cloud Storage.
• Hands-on enterprise technology delivery experience in software engineering, cloud development or data engineering.
• Experience building and deploying AI solutions using Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform or ADK, including multi-agent orchestration.
• Ability to produce architecture diagrams, design specifications and operational runbooks.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines and scripting.
• Ability to explain complex AI and cloud concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices and tools, including identity and access management, firewalls, encryption or Agent Gateway policy configuration.
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts such as RAG, tool use, orchestration, memory and token management, and grounding with enterprise data.
• Experience in site reliability engineering or production systems operations, including live incident troubleshooting and resolution.

• Engineer Google Cloud-native applications, data pipelines and integrations.
• Integrate Gemini Enterprise capabilities into enterprise workflows and client-facing applications.
• Implement Google Cloud platform components for secure, enterprise-grade AI deployments.
• Participate in design discussions and architecture reviews, aligning implementations with standards, security policies and non-functional requirements.
• Translate client requirements into well-architected, production-ready solutions.
