Job summary

The Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer role is centered on creating platform services that empower application teams to efficiently develop and modernize their solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking. Responsibilities include hands-on engineering with GCP services such as VPCs and Firewalls, deploying infrastructure as code with Terraform, and utilizing modern DevOps tools like Git and GitHub to ensure secure and reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• strong engineering discipline
• experience maintaining large-scale GCP networking or hybrid connectivity environments
• understanding of how GCP networking supports key workloads
• familiarity with Python or Bash for infrastructure automation
• knowledge of enterprise network concepts

Responsibilities

• build platform services that enable application teams to rapidly develop and modernise their solutions
• hands-on engineering experience with GCP networking in enterprise environments
• exposure to core services like VPCs, Cloud Interconnect, VPC Peering, Cloud Routers, Firewalls, DNS, Load balancers, Private Connectivity and Cloud / Hybrid NAT
• Terraform expertise and experience deploying infrastructure as code
• practical DevOps experience using modern tooling
