Job summary
AlayaCare is seeking a Graduate Site Reliability Engineer to join their global SRE team in Sydney. The role involves developing scripts, improving multitenant architecture, and collaborating with various teams.
Qualifications
- Completed a degree in Computer Science within the last 2 years
- Explain basic networking and debugging concepts
- Write and modify scripts (Python, Go, Bash)
- Navigate Linux and command line
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Use AI coding tools for code generation
- Curious and calm under pressure
- Effective communication and willingness to ask for help
Responsibilities
- Develop scripts and operational tools
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code changes
- Monitor and improve multitenant architecture
- Debug and implement RCA for incidents
- Learn to architect reliable cloud infrastructure
- Join help desk and on-call rotation
- Collaborate with SRE, Product, and Engineering teams
- Improve monitoring and technical documentation
- Take ownership of shared platform services
