Job summary

Lead the development, operation, and evolution of a cross-product engineering platform. Build a modern, cloud-native Azure infrastructure and enhance developer experience through self-service approaches, central tools, and clear platform standards. Lead Platform Engineering and DevOps teams, developing them into a high-performing platform organization.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or DevOps, ideally with Azure
• Profound knowledge in Kubernetes, Terraform, Serverless Architectures, CI/CD, and Cloud Migrations
• Experience in building self-service platforms, Internal Developer Portals, or Platform-as-a-Product approaches
• Leadership experience and proven success in team development and building platform organizations
• High AI affinity, good understanding of Developer Experience, and confident communication in German and English

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop two Platform Engineering and DevOps teams
• Build and operate a cross-product Azure Cloud platform infrastructure
• Further develop Internal Developer Portal, self-service platforms, and Developer Experience
• Establish modern DevOps practices, CI/CD standards, monitoring, and reliability concepts
• Manage the platform roadmap and maintain close exchange with product teams and stakeholders
