Job summary
The Head of Platform Engineering at IMP Software will lead the transition to a modern, AI-first platform while managing a small DevOps team. This hands-on leadership role focuses on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and developer experience, ensuring high availability and compliance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years running production SaaS systems
- Expert in Azure
- Strong containerisation skills
- Expert in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform/OpenTofu
- Strong observability and alerting skills
- Hands-on experience with AI developer tooling
- Deep security experience for cloud SaaS
- Track record of managing team workload
Responsibilities
- Own Azure infrastructure end to end
- Standardise infrastructure-as-code using Terraform/OpenTofu
- Build a self-service developer platform
- Create guardrails for AI-first teams
- Design and operate observability and alerting
- Lead platform incident management
- Own platform security posture
- Manage and develop the DevOps team
