Hybrid Cloud Engineer

Job summary

Designs and operates secure, scalable cloud and data center network infrastructure, supporting network engineering, virtualization, enterprise storage, and data center operations. The role plans compute and storage migrations, maintains VMware, OpenStack, or Hyper-V platforms and NAS/SAN systems, and automates infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python. It also supports Linux and Windows Server environments and cloud networking across IPv4/IPv6.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least five years of experience in network engineering, data center operations, or a related field.
• Experience administering VMware, OpenStack, or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Server environments for high availability and performance.
• Experience with enterprise storage systems and NAS/SAN architectures, including volume and LUN management, host mapping, multipathing, replication, and snapshots.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or GitOps.
• Experience with IPv4/IPv6 networking, cloud network architecture, and automation.
• Experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure cloud and data center network solutions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams on specifications for cloud products, services, and applications.
• Plan and execute compute and storage migrations for data center relocation or consolidation.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms, including live and cold virtual machine migrations.
• Build and maintain NAS/SAN storage systems, including volumes, LUNs, host mapping, multipathing, and replication.
