IaaC Automation Engineer

Job summary

Klipboard is seeking an Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) Automation Engineer to design, implement, and improve automated infrastructure and platform deployment solutions in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure automation, platform engineering, DevOps, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and configuration management principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and work under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, methodical and quality-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation solutions.
• Develop and support automated provisioning, configuration and deployment processes.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting automated deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering, support and service teams to improve standardisation and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational standards.
• Monitor automation solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
• Ensure activities comply with processes and security requirements.
• Participate in training and development activities.
