IAM Platform Engineer – Identity, Entitlements & Authorisation

Job summary

G-Research is seeking an experienced IAM Platform Engineer to enhance their authentication and identity management systems. The role involves modernizing identity infrastructure, automating identity lifecycle processes, and improving access workflows within a leading quantitative research firm.

Qualifications

• Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms, ideally SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Identity lifecycle management including JML processes
• Identity data integration with HR systems, ideally Workday
• Active Directory and enterprise identity data management
• Entitlement governance and access models
• Access request and approval workflows
• Identity provisioning and integration technologies
• Coding and automation to improve identity services
• Collaborative work with engineering and security teams

Responsibilities

• Improve Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes
• Enhance identity lifecycle automation across Workday, IdentityIQ, and Active Directory
• Build and maintain a comprehensive entitlement catalogue
• Improve access request workflows and access certification processes
• Identify stale, orphaned, and excessive access
• Engineer improvements to SailPoint IdentityIQ workflows
• Reduce manual operational work through automation
• Develop APIs and tooling for identity and entitlement data
• Produce operational documentation and audit evidence
• Support compliance and security reviews
• Design modern entitlement models including RBAC and ABAC
