Job summary
The ICT Infrastructure Engineer builds, supports and improves enterprise technology platforms for a distributed early-learning organisation. The role configures Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune; manages identity, access, device security and policies; supports hybrid Azure, on-premises and Meraki SD-WAN environments; and automates operations using scripting, Infrastructure-as-Code and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications
- At least five years of enterprise infrastructure support experience
- Recent hands-on experience configuring and administering Microsoft Azure, Entra ID and/or Intune
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management, Conditional Access, device management and cloud security
- Experience designing, testing and implementing technology policies and configuration changes
- Strong troubleshooting, scripting and automation skills
- Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Experience with infrastructure lifecycle management, monitoring, patching, backup and disaster recovery
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to Microsoft Defender, Meraki, Azure DevOps, LogicMonitor or ServiceNow
- Willingness to obtain a Queensland Blue Card
- Willingness to complete National Child Safety Foundation Training
- Must have or obtain a valid working with children check
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, maintain and optimise Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune environments
- Manage identity, access, security and device policies, including Conditional Access and Intune policies
- Design, test and roll out secure, reliable infrastructure and policy changes
- Support hybrid infrastructure across Azure, on-premises environments and Meraki SD-WAN
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents, performance issues and service requests
- Automate infrastructure operations using scripting, Infrastructure-as-Code and Azure DevOps
- Support patching, monitoring, backups, disaster recovery and vulnerability remediation
- Coordinate with internal ICT teams, vendors and managed service providers
- Contribute to infrastructure improvements and technology roadmap initiatives
