Job summary

Mot*** is seeking an ICT Infrastructure Engineer to design Security Systems and ICT Infrastructure within their Buildings division.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering projects within the built environment.
  • Extensive ICT infrastructure design experience across concept and detailed design stages.
  • Ability to lead design and specification of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection, and Integrated Security Management Systems.
  • Experience leading structured design processes such as Home Office ‘Operational Requirements’.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Experience delivering coordinated MEP 3D design models.
  • Track record in building services ICT engineering design using industry software (NBS Create, REVIT).
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ICT design for major projects from concept through to detailed design.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with architects and civil engineers.
  • Work with clients to understand requirements and document appropriate solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Support senior managers with commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
  • Work autonomously within a team on building services projects.
  • Prepare design documents including sketches, drawings, reports, schedules, and specifications.
  • Engage in various project phases including feasibility, concept, detail design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
  • Review and coordinate designs with other disciplines.
  • Inspect and test under construction or as-built systems and report findings.
  • Stay updated on technical standards and product developments.
  • Support the learning and development of early career professionals.
