ICT Support - DevOps

Job summary

Provide ICT support and infrastructure services across a portfolio of K–12 school clients, troubleshooting end-user, network, server, identity, and cloud infrastructure issues. The role progressively develops into DevOps and automation work, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, scripting, Docker workloads, workflow automation, monitoring, and runbooks, using tools such as Azure, PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, Rewst, and n8n.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience
• Foundational knowledge of networking, servers, and end-user computing
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure
• Basic exposure to PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Full Australian work rights

Responsibilities

• Provide ICT support for end-user computing, connectivity, and core infrastructure
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; escalate when needed
• Support server environments, identity management, and cloud infrastructure
• Contribute to infrastructure projects alongside senior engineers
• Communicate service updates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Maintain technical documentation and support runbooks
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to Infrastructure as Code practices
• Automate provisioning, system updates, and recurring operational tasks with scripts
• Use workflow automation tools to automate manual processes
• Build, modify, and troubleshoot containerised workloads
• Contribute to infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and observability
