Job summary

The Infrastructure Architect role focuses on designing and owning infrastructure architectures that integrate AWS cloud platforms with on-premise services to support critical airport operations. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into scalable solutions, providing architectural leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and own infrastructure architectures across AWS and hybrid technology estate
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and cost-effective technical solutions
• Partner with engineering, product, project and operational teams to deliver strategic technology outcomes
• Provide architectural leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Balance performance, resilience, governance and commercial considerations in technology decisions
• Contribute to platform roadmaps and architecture governance processes
• Review emerging technologies for future platform strategy
• Work with suppliers to evaluate technologies and services
• Champion best practices across cloud and infrastructure engineering
