Job summary
Responsible for maintaining and optimizing wireless infrastructure and fibre cabinet equipment, including installation, servicing, and repair of the fixed wireless access network.
Qualifications
- Experience working at height
- Experience in high risk environments with H&S adherence
- Effective communication with internal and external clients
Responsibilities
- Install and service wireless infrastructure and radio equipment
- Travel to sites for installation, servicing, and repair work
- Work with microwave radio links and configure systems
- Install and configure Fixed Wireless Access network access points
- Build cabinets for wireless/network hardware
- Commission fibre infrastructure in cabinets
- Perform site cabling and fibre patching
- Conduct preventative maintenance
- Document site conditions and compliance with H&S policies
- Maintain company fleet in good working order
