Job summary

The Infrastructure Engineer role is centered on developing and implementing patch management procedures to secure applications such as Billing, Corp Finance, and Reg Reporting. Responsibilities include coordinating patch prioritization with stakeholders, conducting assessments of patch management practices, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors on vulnerability data and threat intelligence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Production Support of Several Different Business Applications
• 2+ years of experience in application security focused on Vulnerability Patch Management
• In-depth knowledge of patch management principles and best practices
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 12c, 11g Fusion Middleware Weblogic server, Oracle SSO, Oracle OID, Oracle OAM, Oracle OHS patching and upgrade
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and common security vulnerabilities
• Hands-on experience with Oracle single sign-on integration
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patch management procedures and standards
• Define and maintain patch management metrics and reporting mechanisms
• Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize patches based on risk and compliance
• Establish change management processes for patch deployment
• Conduct assessments and audits of patch management practices
• Collaborate with vendors and security teams for threat intelligence
• Gather vulnerability data from internal teams
• Analyze vulnerability data for severity and risk
• Serve as a subject matter expert on vulnerability reporting
• Communicate with external vendors regarding vulnerabilities
• Evaluate and improve the vulnerability reporting process
