Job summary

The Infrastructure Engineer role is crucial for shaping and supporting the infrastructure services that enable operational success. Responsibilities include administering the Nutanix virtualization platform, managing backup and recovery solutions, and collaborating with IT teams to ensure integrated technology services. The position requires expertise in Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and Microsoft cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience administering enterprise server and infrastructure platforms across Windows Server and Red Hat Linux
• Experience administering enterprise virtualization platforms, including Nutanix & VMware
• Experience managing enterprise backup and recovery solutions using NetBackup, Veeam or Commvault
• Strong experience with Microsoft cloud technologies including Entra ID, Intune and Exchange Online
• Experience managing endpoint deployment and lifecycle management
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and core infrastructure services
• Experience monitoring and resolving infrastructure issues in a complex environment
• Experience developing automation solutions using PowerShell

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and enhance the Nutanix virtualization platform and supporting infrastructure services
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
• Manage backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions
• Support lifecycle management of server, storage and infrastructure platforms
• Develop and maintain automation and operational processes
• Contribute to design and implementation of infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with EUC, Network, Security and Development teams
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues
• Participate in infrastructure projects and improvement initiatives
