Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their Cloud & Infrastructure team. The role involves providing technical expertise across various technology platforms, supporting infrastructure projects, and mentoring junior engineers while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Windows Server
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects including migrations and upgrades
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO
• Experience integrating cloud-based and on-premises technologies
• Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, security, and operational best practices
• Experience using ITSM and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across hybrid infrastructure platforms
• Plan and execute cloud and workload migrations to Microsoft Azure
• Provide Level 3 support for complex incidents and outages
• Maintain secure and high-performing cloud and on-premises environments
• Deliver infrastructure projects and platform modernisation initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders, onsite teams, and vendors
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence
