Job summary
Build and operate the resilient infrastructure behind a regulated banking platform, across cloud services and hardware in third-party data centres. Own infrastructure architecture, production reliability, CI/CD, security access, monitoring, cost efficiency, and infrastructure software, including FoundationDB clusters, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, and multi-region failover.

Qualifications
- Experience running container orchestration in production
- Experience writing infrastructure as code
- Ability to troubleshoot IP networking
- Experience building and managing production cloud environments
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to learn new programming languages
- Comfort working in small teams with shifting priorities and high autonomy
Responsibilities
- Make infrastructure architecture decisions and build operational tools
- Operate and improve production databases, compute, build farm, and deployment pipelines
- Maintain CI/CD, security access, monitoring integration, and safe deployment infrastructure
- Manage infrastructure spending and resource efficiency across AWS and DataDog
- Design, implement, test, review, and maintain infrastructure software and automation
- Develop reliable systems, including database upgrades, replica clusters, and multi-region failover
