Job summary
The Infrastructure Engineer II implements, maintains, and supports on-premises, collocated, and hybrid infrastructure, including data center compute, storage, virtualization, and operating systems. The role focuses on vulnerability remediation and patching, identity and endpoint management with Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft AVD, and Intune, and backup and disaster recovery across on-premises and Azure environments. It also troubleshoots infrastructure incidents and coordinates with IT and security teams to support reliable, secure operations.

Qualifications
- At least three years of infrastructure engineering experience supporting on-premises, collocated, and hybrid environments.
- Demonstrated experience with vulnerability remediation and security patching.
- Strong proficiency in vulnerability remediation, patch management, Windows, and Linux.
- Intermediate proficiency with Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Entra ID, security scanning tools, Microsoft AVD, and Intune.
- Experience with storage technologies including Nutanix, Pure, and ExaGrid.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery tools such as Rubrik, Commvault, or Veeam.
- PowerShell automation and scripting experience.
- Foundational knowledge of Azure infrastructure and hybrid disaster recovery, including Azure Site Recovery or VMware SRM.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and support on-premises and collocated data center infrastructure.
- Patch operating systems, firmware, and infrastructure components to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Track remediation progress and validate vulnerability closure with security teams.
- Support Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid identity integrations.
- Support Microsoft AVD and Intune, including device enrollment, policy configuration, and compliance monitoring.
- Support SAN/NAS storage, VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix environments.
- Assist with backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions across on-premises and Azure environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and service requests, and assist with root cause analysis.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
