Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years' experience in 1st and 2nd line Service Desk support.
  • Excellent communication skills with a user-centred mindset.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Azure and desktop technologies.
  • Strong analysis, work planning, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to be primarily office-based near end users.
  • Willingness to travel to UK sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, supportive, and timely 1st line logging, triage, investigation, and resolution of incidents, problems, and requests.
  • Provide proactive communications to stakeholders regarding incident status.
  • Perform 2nd line infrastructure health checks and proactive monitoring of core platforms.
  • Administer key systems, including user accounts, email, networks, and printers.
  • Manage ICT asset configuration, build, deployment, and maintenance of end-user devices.
  • Apply ITIL and ISO best practices, supporting audits and resolving findings.
  • Support larger-scale infrastructure projects and improvement initiatives.
