Job summary
The Infrastructure Engineer provides technical leadership for enterprise desktop environments that support faculty, staff, and students. The role designs and maintains desktop solutions across physical and virtual environments, manages software deployment and endpoint security, resolves escalated technical issues, and guides technology initiatives, documentation, and team development.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or an associate's degree with equivalent relevant work experience or certifications.
- At least four years of relevant, progressive professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise desktop solutions across physical and virtual environments.
- Plan, test, and optimize software deployments and configurations.
- Monitor endpoint environments and implement updates, patches, and security policies.
- Oversee multi-tier infrastructure, integrate third-party applications, and support high availability.
- Provide expert consultation and resolve escalated technical issues.
- Evaluate tools and recommend desktop solutions aligned with institutional and security practices.
- Maintain technical documentation and standardized procedures.
- Mentor team members and support training and development.
