Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

The Infrastructure Engineer will provide technical support and operations management for Infrastructure BAU within the APAC & HK regions, assisting with both on-premise and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience with Windows Server Operating Systems and Hypervisor technologies
• Azure Cloud experience with understanding of ITIL
• Exposure to Infrastructure Architecture principles
• Understanding of incident, problem, and change management
• Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment
• Self-starter with ability to work autonomously and in a team

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage technical solutions to meet business requirements
• Manage day-to-day Infrastructure Operations
• Provide infrastructure support across business units
• Design and support IT infrastructure
• Support cloud workloads in Azure
• Assist in resolution of Infrastructure incidents
• Act as technical escalation point for 3rd parties
• Lead IT infrastructure projects
• Participate in technical solutions for IT projects
• Support escalated Severity 1 and 2 issues
• Provide support to project teams
• Front line network support
• Ensure compliance with audit protocols
• Provide input into Crisis/Incident Management
• Respond to service requests within SLA
