Job summary

OneSchool Global UK is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team on a full-time, permanent, hybrid basis. This role involves implementing, maintaining, and improving the IT Infrastructure environment, providing 2nd/3rd line technical support, and working with various technologies including Microsoft and Azure cloud-based portals. The position requires regular travel to the Regional Support Office in Warwick, which will relocate to Coventry in September 2026.

Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge in Intune, Azure / MS Entra AD, PowerShell Scripting, MS Cloud portals (including Defender and Purview), Exchange Online, Power Automate Tasks & Flows, Barracuda Backup, Barracuda Email Security, Network switches, Routers, and Firewalls
  • Knowledge of Ubiquiti and Cambium networks is desirable
  • Proven experience working in an IT Infrastructure position
  • Grade C and above in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • IT-related degree
  • Commitment to acquiring specialist knowledge of relevant emerging technologies
  • Experience working within Change Control and CAB approvals
  • Ability to uphold and promulgate the OneSchool Global ethos

Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for core infrastructure and related technologies
  • Implement and support infrastructure projects aligned to business objectives and IT roadmap
  • Provide technical knowledge regarding IT Infrastructure, offering advice and guidance to IT department members, service users, and stakeholders
  • Work independently and as part of a team to provide business-as-usual and project work
  • Ensure minimum disruption to business operational and educational functions
  • Utilize Halo to maintain accurate information for technical support issues
  • Adhere to Change Control and CAB approvals before authorized changes are carried out
  • Liaise effectively with third-party suppliers and support providers to ensure solutions meet service levels
  • Acquire specialist knowledge of relevant emerging developments in cloud, network, and server technologies
  • Stay updated on general developments and standards mandated by organizational policies and procedures
