Infrastructure Engineer (Platform) - London

Job summary

Build and operate the infrastructure platform underpinning products, supporting product and platform engineers as the organization moves from AWS toward an environment-agnostic platform. The role includes scaling Kubernetes clusters and networking, developing authentication and authorization systems and Kubernetes-native controllers and operators, maintaining infrastructure as code, and accelerating deployments for Forward Deployed Engineers.

Qualifications

• Use Python or Go to solve practical engineering problems
• Have built and operated a Kubernetes-based platform at significant scale, with measurable clusters, services, and users
• Have experience with multiple cloud providers or strong systems engineering knowledge, including Linux and eBPF
• Have built and owned infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability
• Experience with complex network topologies and CNIs such as Cilium or Calico is an advantage
• Experience with petabyte-scale data or high-frequency, latency-sensitive workloads is an advantage
• Experience with agentic systems, particularly in security, is an advantage
• Experience with GPUs and tools such as Dynamo, vLLM, or SGLang is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Run and scale Kubernetes clusters and networking

• Refactor the infrastructure stack to be environment agnostic
• Improve deployment speed for Forward Deployed Engineers
• Build Kubernetes-native services, including controllers and operators
• Write and maintain infrastructure as code
