Job summary

Seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with experience in SAP, SuSE Linux, and Oracle for a project in the transport and logistics sector. The role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining SAP applications, migrating R/3 systems to S/4 in the cloud, ensuring SLA compliance, and participating in 24x7 on-call duty. This is a remote position with a project duration from July 2026 to December 2026.

Qualifications

• Provide and update components and procedures as specified
• Perform operations
• Monitor components and procedures
• Analyze and resolve errors within the framework of RB (5+ years experience)
• Proven experience (in the last 5 years) in design, installation, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of standard technologies in relevant SAP areas (e.g., SAP Basis, SAP R3/S4, SAP Cluster Technologies, SAP AS-JAVA, SAP-Cloud) (5+ years experience)
• Analyze, resolve, and document security findings of all priority classes
• Coordinate necessary measures with other stakeholders
• Communicate solutions and processing status (5+ years experience)
• Excellent and proven current knowledge of relevant operating systems (especially SuSE Linux) (5+ years experience)
• Excellent and proven current knowledge in installation, operation, and design of Oracle and S/4-Hana databases (5+ years experience)
• Process incidents
• Communicate problem resolution or processing status to the ticket owner
• Forward incidents in case of escalation (5+ years experience)
• Independently process trouble tickets and inquiries in own area of responsibility
• Forward to higher authority and escalate severe or critical problems (5+ years experience)
• Document IT infrastructures and cloud systems of operated applications (5+ years experience)
• Develop processes for automating IT infrastructure and cloud systems (5+ years experience)
