Job summary

Signet Jewelers is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain, and transform their IT infrastructure as they transition to a cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience administering Windows Server environments
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows infrastructure
• Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Experience monitoring and supporting enterprise infrastructure
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
• Experience creating technical documentation and automation
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive, 'can do' approach

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line infrastructure support
• Administer UK infrastructure across servers, cloud platforms, and networking
• Investigate and resolve complex 3rd line technical issues
• Design and implement proactive monitoring and alerting
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and core infrastructure services
• Support AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external technology partners
• Ensure infrastructure changes meet security, compliance, and governance standards
• Maintain technical documentation and automation scripts
• Participate in on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support
