Job summary
Build and support infrastructure across physical data centres and cloud environments in AWS and GCP, enabling internal operations and partnering with software engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable services. The role includes maintaining critical infrastructure, designing reusable engineering patterns, automating operational work, and diagnosing system and network failures. The environment includes data centre networking, Linux, containers, and infrastructure as code.

Qualifications
- Strong background in data centre network topologies, BGP routing, and VRF configuration for secure traffic isolation
- Experience working with firewalls
- Working knowledge of Linux administration
- Experience with or awareness of infrastructure as code and provisioning tools
- Knowledge of system architecture and design
- Experience with modern development practices and Python, Golang, or Bash scripting
- Experience building and maintaining containers
- Knowledge of core cloud services
- Experience running services in Kubernetes
- Experience maintaining compliant environments such as PCI-DSS
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations with delivery teams
- Make changes to critical physical infrastructure
- Design and build reusable patterns and frameworks for engineering teams
- Automate operational work to reduce toil
- Own projects and deliver them on time
- Diagnose system and network failures under pressure
