Job summary
Experienced 3rd Line IT Engineer with a background in MSP environments, providing advanced technical support and managing cloud platforms.
Qualifications
- At least one certification in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or server technologies
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT support within an MSP environment
- Hands-on experience in an ITIL-aligned service environment
- Strong virtualisation experience with VMware and vSphere
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 4 escalation support to the Service Desk
- Identify root causes and implement long-term fixes
- Ensure issues are fully resolved with no downstream impact
- Monitor and optimise cloud platforms to meet SLAs
- Drive improvements in platform reliability and security
- Deploy and maintain automation and monitoring tools
- Follow best practices for incident and change management
- Continuously improve service desk processes
- Act as a technical escalation point for customers
- Accurately log and manage incidents
- Support and mentor Service Desk Analysts and Engineers
