Job summary
Wav*** is seeking a motivated Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain a reliable, cloud-backed HPC infrastructure for heavy design and simulation workloads.
Qualifications
- Experience running Kubernetes in production, ideally including bare metal
- Cloud-native mindset
- Some Linux sysadmin experience
- Comfortable with compute-heavy, batch-style workloads
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Responsibilities
- Build reliable, cloud-backed HPC infrastructure
- Ensure security for IT operations on-prem and in the cloud
- Develop a solid, self-service compute platform
- Implement monitoring and alerting for observability
- Manage reliable storage and access for large scientific datasets
