Job summary
Maintain, optimize, and scale physical and virtual computing infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems. Responsibilities include managing servers and networks, troubleshooting Linux systems, Cisco switches, routing, and hardware, and developing Python automation for infrastructure tasks. The environment includes data center connectivity, TCP/IP networks, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and SNMP.

Qualifications
- At least 5 years of systems administration, network infrastructure engineering, or related experience
- Knowledge of data center connectivity, structured cabling, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, and subnetting
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, including Catalyst or Nexus
- Practical knowledge of server hardware, network appliances, and computer internals
- Experience troubleshooting Linux servers, enterprise applications, and network infrastructure
- Experience diagnosing packet loss, latency, and network performance issues
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware failures and performance bottlenecks
- Hands-on familiarity with Git workflows
- Experience with hardware and network monitoring tools and performance tuning
- Ability to provide weekend, evening, and out-of-business-hours support when required
Responsibilities
