Job summary

Designs, builds, and operates cloud infrastructure and reliability capabilities that help platform teams deploy safely and consistently. The role covers infrastructure-as-code, landing zones, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, incident response, SLOs, cost optimization, and production readiness, including support for customer-controlled, hybrid, on-premises, and edge environments.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure with reliability ownership.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code, landing zones, networking, identity, security, and environment management.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Experience establishing observability using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
• Understanding of cost and capacity optimization, including GPU workloads.
• Ability to balance delivery speed, safety, automation, cost, and operational quality.
• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Bicep, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or related tools is desirable.
• Experience with customer-controlled, hybrid, BYOC, on-premises, edge, regulated, air-gapped, or mission-critical environments is desirable.
• Experience supporting AI/ML platforms, model-serving infrastructure, GPU workloads, or AI development operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, deployment, observability, and reliability capabilities.
• Manage landing zones, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and production readiness.
• Establish observability with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and actionable alerts.
• Support SLOs, incident response, postmortems, and on-call operations.
• Automate operational tasks and reduce manual toil using scripts, tools, runbooks, and platform services.
• Optimize infrastructure costs and capacity, including GPU workloads.
