Job summary
Qualcomm is seeking an Infrastructure/SRE Engineer to enhance their cloud platform, focusing on AWS infrastructure management, Kubernetes cluster maintenance, and CI/CD pipeline development.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Maintain and scale Kubernetes clusters with Karpenter
- Contribute to Cilium-based networking layer
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Buildkite
- Manage deployments through ArgoCD
- Develop internal tooling and automation in TypeScript
- Implement observability and alerting with Datadog
- Champion security best practices
- Participate in incident response and capacity planning
