Job summary

The Infrastructure System Administrator is tasked with designing, building, and maintaining highly available server environments. Key responsibilities include managing InfoScale cluster deployments, developing disaster-recovery procedures, and troubleshooting complex issues across infrastructure and application teams to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant systems administration experience
• Ability to work on site five days per week during day-shift hours.
• Active DOD TS/SCI clearance required.
• Active DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level II certification required prior to start.
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification.
• Experience leading infrastructure or operations teams.
• Hands-on experience with high-availability clustering technologies.
• Strong background in Linux and/or Windows server administration.
• Experience with cluster builds, maintenance, and recovery operations.
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work of infrastructure engineers for high-availability environments.
• Plan, build, configure, and maintain InfoScale clusters.
• Develop and improve disaster-recovery and continuity procedures.
• Manage physical and virtual servers, including OS administration and patching.
• Operate and maintain a test lab for integration testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot complex cluster and application-availability issues.
• Maintain system diagrams, build guides, and technical documentation.
• Track system health, availability, and provide status reporting.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet operational requirements.
