Infrastructure System Administrator

Job summary

The Infrastructure System Administrator is tasked with designing, building, and maintaining highly available server environments. Key responsibilities include managing InfoScale cluster deployments, developing disaster-recovery procedures, and troubleshooting complex issues across infrastructure and application teams, with a focus on Linux and Windows server administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years or Master's and 4+ years experience
• 5 years of relevant systems administration experience
• Ability to work on site five days per week during day-shift hours
• Active DOD TS/SCI clearance required
• Active DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level II certification required
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification
• Experience leading infrastructure or operations teams
• Hands-on experience with high-availability clustering technologies
• Strong background in Linux and/or Windows server administration
• Experience planning and executing cluster builds and recovery operations
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work of infrastructure engineers for high-availability environments.
• Plan, build, configure, and maintain InfoScale clusters.
• Develop, execute, document, and improve disaster-recovery procedures.
• Manage physical and virtual servers, including OS administration and patching.
• Operate and maintain a test lab for integration testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot complex cluster, server, storage, and network issues.
• Maintain system diagrams, build guides, and technical documentation.
• Track system health, availability, and provide status reporting.
