Job summary
Senior DevOps engineer focused on Azure, CI/CD automation, and embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle. The role involves building Azure DevOps pipelines, integrating SonarQube Advanced Security, assessing and tracking vulnerabilities, and supporting development teams with remediation. It also covers infrastructure as code, scripting, and monitoring with Azure services and OpenShift.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or a related role.
- More than 5 years of experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, Microsoft Azure, OpenShift, scripting, DevSecOps, SAST, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with branching strategies, software lifecycle management, process automation, and enterprise environments.
- Spanish proficiency and English at upper B1 level or higher.
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities, resolve issues, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Hands-on, organized, autonomous, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Create SonarQube Advanced Security templates and integrate them into development pipelines.
- Support application owners with security tool implementation and configuration.
- Analyze SonarQube reports, assess vulnerability severity, and investigate false positives.
- Track vulnerabilities and monitor remediation progress.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or TypeScript.
- Implement infrastructure as code and configure Azure monitoring, alerts, and tracking.
- Prepare technical documentation, security reports, and progress reports.
- Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to teams.
