Job summary

This role automates the design, integration, and testing of electronic systems for satellite payloads and other space products, supporting engineering teams throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. Key work includes managing engineering tools and infrastructure, migrating tools to AWS, Azure, and Databricks, building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI, and improving system logging and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education.
• At least five years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in automation scripting with Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Bash, or VBScript.
• CI/CD engineering experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Understanding of FPGA, PCB design, or software development tools.
• Knowledge of Agile software development practices.
• Understanding of computer networking and enterprise security fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation for technical teams and end users.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and implement systems that automate electronic and software development activities.
• Manage engineering tools and third-party intellectual property, including procurement, licensing, installation, upgrades, maintenance renewals, and IT capacity planning.
• Manage tools for PCB, FPGA, software, RF circuit, and system design.
• Establish governance practices, organize information, and guide users through digital transformation.
• Support migration of engineering tools to AWS, Azure, and Databricks.
• Diagnose and resolve engineering infrastructure issues.
• Create, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and improve application and system logging and monitoring.
