Job summary

Conceive, deploy, secure, and administer Microsoft Azure infrastructure, with a focus on reusable Terraform modules and Azure Application Gateway. The role spans automated provisioning and CI/CD, network and WAF configuration, Azure governance and security, and complex incident response, including investigations and post-mortems. It also supports development teams in adopting cloud best practices and improving automation, security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Advanced Terraform skills, including creating and managing reusable modules.
• Experience with Azure Application Gateway and WAF.
• Knowledge of Azure Key Vault, VNet Peering, Private Endpoints, and Azure Firewall.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, and Azure Policy.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Bash.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and maintain reusable Terraform modules.
• Automate provisioning of Azure landing zones, subscriptions, networks, and PaaS services.
• Integrate Terraform with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, deploy, and administer Azure Application Gateway architectures.
• Configure routing, URL rewriting, SSL offloading, and load balancing.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates through Azure Key Vault.
• Configure WAF policies, investigate false positives, and help protect applications from OWASP vulnerabilities.
• Work with VNet Peering, Private Endpoints, and Azure Firewall.
• Manage Azure governance, least-privilege access, and compliance policies.
• Handle complex cloud incidents, contribute to crisis response, and write post-mortems.
• Document architectures and technical procedures.
• Support development teams and mentor junior engineers.
