Job summary

Thales is seeking a DevOps Engineer specializing in Data/AI to join their team in Cannes. The role involves implementing and automating CI/CD pipelines, maintaining operational conditions, and collaborating with business stakeholders to develop tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an engineering school or equivalent Bac+5, specialized in software development and software infrastructure management.
• Experience in deploying software solutions and managing data-related infrastructures.
• Proficient in deployment, automation, and monitoring technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Linux, Python, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Familiar with Cloud technologies and cybersecurity principles and tools.
• Comfortable with databases InfluxDB, MongoDB, Amazon S3, PostgreSQL, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with version control and collaboration tools like Git and GitHub.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular, and back-end technologies Java, Python, API RESTful, and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge in data analysis and visualization with scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib, or Plotly.
• Ability to gather and analyze user needs to develop suitable solutions.
• Ideally experienced in the space sector, deploying Data solutions in industrial environments or with full-stack frameworks like Spring Boot, FastAPI, Angular, or React.
• Fluent in French and English with technical vocabulary related to data processing and valorization in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines; deploy applications in test and production environments.
• Maintain operational conditions, monitor, and manage incidents; ensure reliability, security, and performance of hosted solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and formalize their needs; propose tailored application solutions.
• Define architecture of industrial solutions, develop specifications, and participate in technical choices.
• Design and execute various levels of testing: unit, integration, verification, validation, and qualification.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications; create necessary deployment scripts.
• Provide technical and methodological support to Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and software developers to ensure industrialization of solutions.
• Provide first-level functional and technical support, document developments, and contribute to continuous improvement of applications and practices.
• Conduct technological watch and evaluate potential of new solutions in an industrial environment.
