Job summary

The role maintains and modernizes a hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure supporting a public-facing food retail e-commerce platform that must remain available 24/7. Responsibilities include operating virtualized systems, automating infrastructure with CI/CD and IaC, implementing monitoring and logging, and supporting releases, backups, and access security. The environment includes VMware vSphere, Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, microservices, and OpenTelemetry.

Qualifications

• Higher education in computer science.
• At least 10 years of solid experience in a similar DevOps or SRE role.
• Expert-level VMware vSphere, Windows, and Linux infrastructure skills.
• Confirmed Kubernetes skills.
• Expert-level monitoring and logging skills, including OpenTelemetry.
• Confirmed microservices architecture skills.
• Professional English.
• Availability for rotating on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Operate virtualized infrastructure and diagnose failures and malfunctions.
• Configure and size platforms to meet performance requirements.
• Industrialize target architectures and automate resource configuration using CI/CD and IaC.
• Implement and administer monitoring tools to support high availability.
• Modernize and continuously improve the platform.
• Maintain data backups, secure access, and ensure the reliability of deployed solutions.
• Conduct technical validations for production releases and platform changes.
• Maintain and expand technical documentation.
