Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a Cloud AWS DevOps Engineer to support clients' business strategies and growth through various IT projects. The role involves migrating databases to AWS, managing cloud environments, ensuring security and compliance, and automating deployments using Infrastructure as Code.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a Bac+5 or from an engineering school or equivalent training.
• Significant experience of at least 5 years in a similar role.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and English-speaking teams.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Solution-oriented.
• Good ability to solve complex and non-routine problems.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD DevOps industrialization tools.
• Master the AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda…).
• Able to design scalable, resilient, and secure architectures in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Migrate databases to AWS and manage multiple environments (dev/test/prod) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Deploy and administer AWS cloud environments.
• Oversee the migration of applications, data, and infrastructure to the cloud.
• Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments.
• Optimize costs and implement cloud governance.
• Automate deployments and operations (IaC, CI/CD).
• Propose coherent, high-performance, reliable, and secure architectures.
• Automate operational tasks using Terraform, AWS Systems Manager, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design deployment templates for infrastructure and applications on AWS.
• Monitor performance (CloudWatch, OEM) and implement corrective actions.
• Implement monitoring solutions (AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Centreon).
• Create and maintain technical documentation in French and English.
• Manage development, validation, and deployment phases of systems.
• Provide level 3 support for technical incident analysis.
