Job summary

Design, integrate, and evolve a large-scale private OpenStack cloud platform as part of a virtual infrastructure transformation and VMware-to-OpenStack migration. Responsibilities include cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code automation, operational standards, resilience and security, service adoption, and Level 3 production support. The technical environment includes OpenStack, Kubernetes, Rancher, Ansible, Python, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, VMware vSphere, KVM, and Linux.

• Higher education.
• Significant experience designing, integrating, and operating large-scale cloud or virtualization platforms.
• Practical OpenStack administration, integration, or architecture experience is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design OpenStack architectures covering compute, storage, networking, security, and related services.
• Conduct complex technical studies and contribute to private cloud architecture decisions.
• Automate infrastructure and service deployment using Infrastructure as Code.
• Improve cloud platform standards for operations, monitoring, resilience, and security.
• Support teams adopting OpenStack private cloud services and promote implementation, operations, and security best practices.
• Contribute to Agile train ceremonies, including Sprint Reviews and Global System Demos.
• Assess feasibility, impacts, and transformation plans for migration from VMware to OpenStack.
• Provide Level 3 technical support during production incidents and advise developers.
• Contribute to the improvement of IaaS, PaaS, and CaaS service offerings.
