Job summary
This role designs, migrates, and operates cloud infrastructure supporting near-real-time geolocation solutions for decision makers and warfighters. The work includes building reusable Infrastructure as Code modules, monitoring and troubleshooting systems, and improving high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud cost efficiency using AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, and related technologies.

Qualifications
- Twenty years of SWE experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of relevant SWE experience.
- Experience provisioning and managing cloud compute, storage, networking, and identity and access management services.
- Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code.
- Development experience with Java and React.
- Experience configuring monitoring, logging, and alerting tools and responding to incidents.
- Experience managing secrets, keys, certificates, and rotation policies.
- Experience troubleshooting networking, security, and cloud service limit issues.
- Experience with Linux.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, modernize, and migrate cloud infrastructure.
- Build reusable modules and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and CloudFormation.
- Monitor infrastructure health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Develop backup, recovery, high-availability, and cloud cost-optimization strategies.
- Document architectures, runbooks, operational procedures, and performance metrics; transfer knowledge to internal teams.
- Generate after-action reports and improve Tier 1 standard operating procedures.
- Recommend enhancements based on emerging technologies.
