Job summary
This co-op/intern role supports cloud platform engineering by automating cloud applications and infrastructure to improve deployment consistency, security, and reliability. The work includes designing, testing, and supporting Infrastructure as Code, applying automation and self-healing practices, and participating in code and design reviews. The team uses GitOps, Terraform, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices; relevant technologies include Go, Python, Ansible, and Docker.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary computer science or related diploma or degree program, or recently graduated within 12 months of the placement end date.
- Curiosity about technology and interest in learning cloud engineering and DevOps.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a changing environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Foundational knowledge of computer science principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, container platforms, GitOps, or DevOps is an asset.
- Experience with Go, Python, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Apply software engineering principles to automate application and operations tasks, including self-healing.
- Design, code, test, implement, and support stable and secure cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code.
- Participate in team code and design reviews.
