Job summary
The Pass Consulting Group is seeking an IT Application Infrastructure Engineer (Linux) to join their Application-Management team. This role involves supporting Linux-based software solutions, ensuring stable operations through monitoring and incident management, and optimizing system processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux systems, customer interaction, and a strong understanding of complex system environments.

Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field, or training as an IT specialist for system integration or application development
- Professional experience in operating and supporting software solutions and Linux systems
- Proficiency in customer interaction
- Strong understanding of technical contexts and dependencies in complex system environments
- Experience with a common scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Programming knowledge
- Solid basic knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience with containerization (Docker)
- Team spirit and initiative
- Ability to maintain an overview in a dynamic environment
- Eagerness to learn and continuously develop
- Proficient in English communication
- Fluent German language skills (at least C1 level) in spoken and written
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and incident handling for Linux-based software solutions, including connected interfaces in customer environments
- Consider connected interfaces in ongoing operations
- Act as the primary contact for internal departments regarding application operations
- Ensure stable operations through continuous monitoring of customer systems, analysis, and handling of anomalies
- Deploy and coordinate updates and configuration changes for supported software solutions on customer systems
- Coordinate closely with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Optimize system and operational processes around the software, considering high availability
- Support projects in setting up and configuring new system environments
- Automate deployments and configuration changes using tools like Ansible and Jenkins
