Job summary
ASML is seeking an experienced IT Architect to define the future of their Developer Platforms and DevOps ecosystem. The role involves shaping architecture, standards, and governance to enhance software development efficiency and security across global engineering teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar roles
- Experience developing architecture roadmaps and governance frameworks
- Knowledge of architecture methodologies like TOGAF
- Experience with architecture modeling tools
- Experience architecting Developer Platforms and Cloud-Native Services
- Deep expertise with Atlassian tools
- Strong experience with CI/CD architecture and DevOps practices
- Experience designing platforms using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience implementing observability solutions
- Experience partnering with infrastructure and security teams
- Experience working within Agile and SAFe environments
Responsibilities
- Own architecture and service strategy for DevEnv application services
- Define target-state architectures and technology roadmaps
- Develop scalable, multi-tenant architectures for platforms
- Establish standards for repository governance and CI/CD pipelines
- Define reference architectures for Kubernetes and Platform Engineering
- Develop patterns for deployment automation and operational readiness
- Create migration strategies for enterprise-managed services
- Drive standardization and automation across development platforms
- Embed DevSecOps and Security-by-Design principles
- Establish governance for security and compliance requirements
- Define service reliability standards and monitoring practices
- Define architecture standards for AI-enabled engineering capabilities
- Evaluate emerging technologies to improve developer experience
- Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance
- Partner with teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Drive knowledge sharing and technical enablement
