Job summary

Mercedes pay GmbH is seeking an IT Cloud Architect to design, maintain, and enhance AWS cloud resources while supporting the rollout of new payment products.

Qualifications

• Passion for IT with a motivated attitude
• Relevant studies in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong solution-oriented and analytical skills
• Proficiency in cloud service architecture and infrastructure-as-code
• Skilled in Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and software programming (e.g. Java)
• Hands-on experience with Datadog
• Experience with platform reliability best practices and monitoring
• Knowledge of IT security best practices
• Fluent in business English

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a dynamic, diverse, and innovation-driven environment
• Design, set up, maintain, and enhance AWS cloud resources using infrastructure-as-code
• Support the rollout of new payment products and services
• Take ownership of deployments during releases and ensure CI/CD pipeline functionality
• Develop data pipeline with integrations to various systems
• Leverage Datadog expertise for platform reliability and monitoring
• Drive IT Operations for product rollouts to new markets
• Collaborate with IT specialists and external providers for innovative solutions
• Ensure operational excellence of the global payment platform
• Ensure compliance with policies and relevant laws
