Job summary
This cloud engineering apprenticeship combines training and mentoring with supervised work supporting business systems and cloud transformation projects. The apprentice develops skills in Microsoft Azure, networking, identity management, and system administration, and creates basic PowerShell and Python scripts while gaining exposure to Git, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications
- Three GCSEs or equivalent at grades 4 or above in any subject
- GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalents at grades 3 or above
- Must not hold a qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject
Responsibilities
- Learn Azure virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity management
- Support system administration, user access management, and monitoring
- Learn networking concepts including IP addressing, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs
- Write basic PowerShell and Python scripts to automate tasks
- Gain exposure to Git, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Assist with maintenance, updates, and cloud projects under supervision
- Work with a mentor and engineering team
- Communicate progress, ask questions, and seek support
- Build working relationships across engineering, security, data, and product teams
